XYZprinting, the manufacturer of the planet’s most affordable consumer tier 3D printers, announced the release of the $349 da Vinci Junior 1.0, the best-valued 3D printing option available for public purchase.The da Vinci Junior 1.0 increases the availability of 3D printing into a wider range of customers, especially aimed at teachers, families and hobbyists.
XYZprinting will be producing the da Vinci Junior show a major focus this year for a wider (and younger) consumer crowd, releasing three versions of the product, such as a wireless-connected edition, which will be released in afterwards 2015.The device’s all-enclosed printing area and non-heated bed gives a secure printing environment for users that are young and first time 3D designers.
The da Vinci Junior 1.0 needs zero calibration, and features a new auto-loading filament system, which notifies users when filament is running low. The printer also has a new one click, extruder that is fast-release, which makes it more convenient for users to alter and eliminate extruders for cleaning or replacement. The 3D printer was developed to give the lowest of all 3D printers to-date, noise, which makes it ideal for home or classroom use. Moreover, the da Vinci Junior 1.0 was developed to minimize ecological impact. Because of the compact design, the printer consumes 75 watts of electricity, and the system uses the brand new PLA filaments that publish materials at very low temperatures of XYZprinting.The da Vinci Junior 1.0 introduction at CES 2015 and was awarded PC Magazine’s Best of CES award and TWICE’s CES Award.
The printer will be displayed in the inner 3D Printing Show occurring at New York City through April 17, 2015.
