A Harvard Woman Figured Out How To 3D Print Makeup

Grace Choi was at Harvard Business School when she decided to disrupt the beauty industry. She realised the beauty brands produce then mark up their products by mixing a great deal of colours and did a bit of research.

“The makeup industry produces a good deal of cash on a whole lot of bulls**t,” Choi said at TechCrunch Disrupt this week.

“They charge a huge premium on something which technician provides for free. This 1 thing is colour.”By that, she suggests color printers are the ink that they have is the same as the ink cosmetics companies use in their products, and also available to everyone. She says that the ink is FDA approved.

Choi produced a home printer, Mink, which allow anyone by ripping the colour code to print makeup and will retail for $ US300.
